Hi there. I don't know what to make of this game, since it crashed during install and crashed again when trying to run it, but as this is the only STCS game I've ever seen, and I'm working on one of my own, I wanted to follow up and find out what's new. Looks like this is a Visual Basic 5.0 game, which is depressing to me, because that means it's ancient history and probably will never be updated.
Anyway, for starters, recommend opening up the forum so people can actually post... I had to try every board here until this one seemed to allow posting. Most don't have a reply button.
I've been posting screenshots of my work-in-progress over on the STCS web site at home.comcast.net/~ststcsolda/. I'm doing this game in DirectX/C++ and it has scripting support and a ship editor, but is still in the early stages. The forum over there is kind of depressing, though, since no one ever shows interest in anything other than "Gawd, that new Uhura is hot!" kind of posts. LOL.
Send me an email if you have any interest in a new STCS computer game, as i would enjoy having some help with it, if not programming then testing and creating ships and scenarios.
